San Diego, CA – 9-Year-Old Child Injured in Scooter Accident
San Diego, CA (October 2, 2018) – A scooter accident left a 9-year-old child injured in San Diego last night, October 1. The accident happened around 7:34 p.m. in the Castle neighborhood on Dwight Street.
The girl’s 16-year-old sister was also riding behind the 9-year-old on her own scooter. The teenager fell off of her scooter. When this happened, the younger sibling lost control of her scooter and struck a tree. She was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
At this time, police continue to investigate the accident and why the teenager fell off. They believe that there might have been a dangerous condition on the road at the time.
