San Bernardino, CA – Head-on Boat Crash Leads to Several Injuries
San Bernardino, CA (September 3, 2018) – Several people received a variety of injuries following a head-on boat crash. The incident took place Saturday evening on the Colorado River.
It was discovered that two recreational vessels were out on the water when they suddenly collided head-on. This happened around the area of the Topock Gorge. The crash was so severe that one of the boats sunk while another sustained serious damages.
Around 9 p.m. at night, emergency crews arrived at the scene and started rendering aid to the victims. A total of twelve people were injured, some of which were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
One unidentified person received severe injuries and was taken to a trauma center. Some only received minor injuries.
