San Bernardino County, CA: Two Killed in Fatal Head-on Collision in Adelanto
San Bernardino County, California (March 21, 2018): Two people were reportedly killed in a tragic head-on collision on Highway 395 in Adelanto, CA, early yesterday morning, Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Neither victim has been identified and only limited details have been made publicly available while the incident remains under investigation by authorities.
Officials believe the accident happened just after 4:30 a.m. when a northbound Hyundai Sonata veered over the double yellow line to pass traffic ahead of her and collided head-on with a southbound 2015 Chevy Captiva. The driver of the Hyundai, a 39-year-old woman from Edwards, CA, and the driver of the Chevy, a 36-year-old man from Helendale, CA, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
