San Bernardino County, CA: Multi-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Crash on 210 Freeway
San Bernardino County, California (February 16, 2018): Four vehicles are reported to have been struck in a hit-and-run crash on 210 Freeway in Upland, CA on Wednesday morning, February 14, 2018. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the incident and information is limited while the investigation remains open.
Emergency responders arrived at the accident scene just before 9:00 a.m. and discovered four vehicles clustered along a half-mile stretch of the eastbound lanes on 210 Freeway, slightly east of Campus Avenue. Officials were able to locate the hit-and-run vehicle near the scene.
An ambulance was dispatched to the crash site, but paramedics have not disclosed any information regarding the number of people injured or the severity of the injuries involved. Several lanes of the highway were partially closed for a period of time to allow officials to begin the investigation and conduct cleanup operations.
