San Bernardino County, CA: Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Apple Valley
San Bernardino County, California (March 2, 2018): Authorities are conducting an active and ongoing investigation into a fatal two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Apple Valley, CA, early Wednesday afternoon, February 28, 2018. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, but officials believe it happened just after noon when a blue Ford pickup truck and a red Hyundai Sonata collided at the intersection of Highway 18 and Quinnault Road, leading the Ford to overturn and crash into a light pole on the shoulder of the road. While the total number of individuals involved in the crash has not been provided, a passenger in the Hyundai is reported to have died and a passenger in the Ford reportedly sustained serious injuries and was taken by emergency services to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
