San Bernardino, CA – Jonathan Lee Durrer Killed, Passenger Severely Injured in Motorcycle Crash at Portola and Cristy Avenues
San Bernardino, CA (May 2, 2019) – Jonathan Lee Durrer, 20, was killed in a motorcycle/ car collision. A 14-year-old passenger was severely injured while riding on Durrer’s motorbike. The incident occurred in the area of Portola Street and Cristy Avenue at 3:45 p.m on April 30th.
Reports claim that Durrer was riding his dirtbike with the 14-year-old passenger along the San Bernardino intersection when he struck into a car driven by a 16-year-old. The 16-year-old was attempting to turn into a driveway near the crossing when Durrer collided with the car.
Durrer died on impact from the crash while the 14-year-old sustained severe injuries and remains in critical condition. The 16-year-old driver was not injured in the accident.
Authorities are currently investigating the details of the tragic accident.
