Sacramento, CA – Two Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash at Intersection
Sacramento, CA (March 23, 2019) – On Wednesday, around 2:39 p.m. this past week, two people were hospitalized following a serious hit-and-run crash at a local intersection. The accident occurred in the area of Palm and Walnut Avenues.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident, where they found that a silver Nissan and a red sedan collided in the intersection. Paramedics were called to the scene to tend to those who were injured.
Two people received injuries, one of which suffered major injuries and is still in the hospital at this time. Their names and conditions have not been disclosed.
A man in his 40s allegedly exited one of the vehicles and fled on foot. They did not say if police caught up with the suspect and if they were arrested or not. The investigation of the accident continues at this time.
