Sacramento, CA – Motorcycle Hit-and-Run Accident Causes Injuries
Sacramento, CA (September 11, 2018) – In Sacramento on September 8 around 10:36 p.m., a motorcycle hit-and-run accident involving another vehicle took place in the lanes of northbound Highway 51.
The California Highway Patrol originally received a call about a motorcyclist who was lying down in the traffic lanes of the highway. Witnesses said that the victim had been riding his Yamaha motorcycle when he was suddenly struck by another vehicle.
Paramedics attended to the rider who was then transported to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center with various serious injuries. The driver did not stop to render aid and police have not yet caught them, but witnesses said that they were driving a possible black Volkswagen sedan. The driver was last seen exiting El Camino Avenue.
