Sacramento, CA – Serious Accident Injures Two
Sacramento, CA (July 26, 2018) – Two people suffered injuries in a serious car accident that took place in Sacramento Thursday morning. The crash happened on Highway 50, near the ramp for 10th Street. There, authorities report that a white Nissan Maxima spun out of control. The Maxima then veered into oncoming travel lanes before T-boning a Dodge Charger.
Police and fire officials immediately responded to the crash. Two people sustained injuries in this crash, and at least one person suffered severe injuries causing a loss of consciousness at the scene. Both drivers were sent to local hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. There is no word on the condition of the injured victims at this time.
Sacramento Police continue to investigate the crash. As of Thursday evening, a cause of the crash has not been determined. Traffic was heavily impacted for more than two hours following the crash as authorities investigated on scene.
