Sacramento, CA – Pick-Up Vs Tractor-Trailer on Hwy 99

Sacramento, CA (December 03, 2019) – An 18-wheeler and a pickup truck collided on Tuesday, December 3rd in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 near the Interstate 5 Freeway.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene just before noon.

The driver of a gold Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck was trapped inside his vehicle.

Firefighters were present and able to quickly extricate the victim.

At least one person sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
