Sacramento, CA: Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Vehicle Crash
Sacramento, California (March 7, 2018): The Sacremento Police Department is conducting an investigation into a fatal pedestrian accident in downtown Sacremento early Monday morning, March 5, 2018. The victim has not yet been identified and only limited information has been made publicly available while the investigation remains open.
Officials believe the collision happened just before 3:00 a.m. when the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross North A Street between North 16 Street and Ahern Street in downtown Sacremento. The victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed on site and is reported to be cooperating with authorities. No further details have been provided at this time.
