Roseville, CA – Man Fatally Struck by 2 Vehicles on I-80
Roseville, CA (October 04, 2019) – A resident of San Luis Obispo was killed in an accident on Interstate 80 early on Thursday, October 3rd.
Local news sources indicated the 40-year-old man was in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in the vicinity of Douglas Boulevard at roughly 12:45 a.m. While attempting to cross the road, an oncoming Toyota Camry failed to dodge the pedestrian and struck him.
The force of the impact from the Camry propelled the man into another lane where he was then run over by a Ford traveling down the interstate.
Emergency medics who reported to the crash site sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene.
No information is currently available on the driver of either vehicle involved.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
