Riverside County, CA: Two-Vehicle Crash in Cathedral City
Riverside County, California (March 2, 2018): Police are conducting an active and ongoing investigation into a two-vehicle crash on Highway 111 in Cathedral City early yesterday night, Thursday, March 1, 2018. Only limited information has been made available while the collision remains under investigation.
The collision was reported to authorities just before 8:30 p.m. and emergency response crews were swiftly dispatched to the accident scene in the 69000 block of Highway 111, near Atrium Way, slightly northwest of Rancho Mirage. Ambulance services transported one victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries after firefighters extricated them from the crash wreckage. At least one additional person reportedly suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. No additional details have been provided at this time.
