Riverside County, CA: Five-Vehicle Collision on 15 Freeway in Temecula
Riverside County, California (February 28, 2018): At least one person was injured in a serious, five-vehicle crash on 15 Freeway in Temecula, CA early Monday evening, February 26, 2018. The California Highway Patrol has opened an investigation into the crash and details are limited while the investigation remains ongoing.
The collision is believed to have occurred just after 6:00 p.m. when a vehicle rolled over and struck another vehicle on 15 Freeway, just south of Highway 79, also known as the Temecula Parkway. An emergency response team comprised of firefighters and medical professionals was dispatched to the accident site where they confirmed that at least one person was seriously injured. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and no further updates on the victim’s condition have been provided. The total number of individuals involved or injured in the crash is unknown at this time.
