Riverside County, CA: Fatal Rollover Wreck in Palm Springs
Riverside County, California (February 27, 2018): Police are conducting an investigation into a fatal rollover crash on Highway 111 in Palm Springs, CA, yesterday afternoon, Monday, February 26, 2018. Only limited information about the collision has been released to the public while the investigation remains ongoing.
While the cause of the collision is still under investigation and it is unclear whether any additional vehicles were involved, officials believe the accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. when a vehicle overturned in the southbound lanes of Highway 111. The force of the collision scattered debris into the northbound lanes of the highway. One person was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene and the victim’s remains were taken into custody by a coroner. It is unclear whether any other individuals were affected by or injured in the collision.
