Riverside, CA – Three Killed in Helicopter Crash in Riverside Co
Riverside, CA (August 7, 2023) – Cal Fire authorities reported that three individuals were killed after two helicopters crashed while responding to a brush fire in Riverside County on Sunday evening.
Officials said one of the helicopters landed safely during a press conference early on Monday. The other helicopter’s crew of three was killed.
No injuries were reported on the ground. Officers added that the collision started a four-acre fire, though it was immediately put out by firefighters.
The National Transportation Safety Board is looking into the crash in the meantime.
