Riverside, CA – Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle on Van Buren Boulevard

Riverside, CA (July 24, 2019) – A pedestrian was tragically struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday night. The accident occurred at 10:10 p.m. on July 23^rd, at the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Indiana Avenue.

Reports claim that pedestrian was attempting to cross Van Buren during a red light when he was hit by a southbound vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly driven by a 20-year-old Riverside driver. The pedestrian struck by the vehicle was immediately rushed to the hospital for life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained at the scene in the aftermath of the accident to assist officers. Further details have yet to be released to the public at this time.
