Redondo Beach, CA – Pedestrian Accident Leads to Arrest of One
Redondo Beach, CA (September 7, 2018) – On Artesia Boulevard in Redondo Beach, one man was arrested following a pedestrian accident that took the life of one person. The accident took place on September 4.
The man who struck two pedestrians was identified as 28-year-old Nathan Greenberg. He struck the man and woman on Tuesday morning, which led to the death of 36-year-old Iryna Miller. The man and woman were crossing the westbound lanes of the road at the time around 2 a.m. They were struck by the driver, who then fled the scene in a hit-and-run.
The man suffered major injuries, including a serious skull fracture. The woman died at the scene of the accident.
At the time, Greenberg fled the scene in his white pickup truck traveling westbound, but he has since turned himself in and is awaiting trial.
