Rancho Cordova, CA – Steven Fonseca killed by Hit-and-Run Driver at Sunrise and Chrysanthy Boulevards
Rancho Cordova, California (October 30, 2018) – A man that was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night has been identified as 39-year-old Steven Fonseca, of Sacramento. Fonseca was struck by a vehicle at approximately 10:44 pm at the intersection between Sunrise Blvd and Chrysanthy Blvd.
According to the initial report, Fonseca was at an intersection in Rancho Cordova when for unknown reasons a vehicle struck him. Officials have confirmed, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the time of the collision. Sometime after the accident, emergency crews arrived on the scene and responding paramedics performed CPR on Fonseca to revive him but, unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver and the vehicle involved. Authorities have not yet released a description of the suspect vehicle.
