Prunedale, CA – Head-on Collision on Highway 101 Causes Major Injuries
Prunedale, CA (August 30, 2018) – One person suffered major injuries following a head-on collision that took place on Wednesday. The incident happened at Blackie Road and Highway 101.
The California Highway Patrol was called to the scene around 7:57 a.m. to find that the incident occurred between a light green car and a 1993 Honda Civic. The green car was passing a motorist when they veered into the oncoming lane, striking the Honda head-on. One of the vehicles caught on fire.
Paramedics were called to the scene and rushed one person to the hospital with major injuries. CHP is heading up the investigation.
