Placer County, CA: Fatal Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash in Foresthill
Placer County, California (February 26, 2018): The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash on Foresthill Road that happened just after midnight earlier this morning, Monday, February 26, 2018. Information is still being collected and few details have been made available at this time.
Authorities received reports that an unidentified vehicle had flipped over a fence off the eastbound lanes of Foresthill Road just after 12:00 a.m. and emergency responders were dispatched to the accident scene a little less than a mile east of Mckeon Ponderosa Way. Firefighters and paramedics tried to perform life-saving measures on the injured individual they encountered at the site, but they were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead. While the cause of the accident has not been officially determined, officials believe the victim may have suffered a medical episode while driving.
