Phelan, CA – Several Vehicles Involved in Deadly Accident
Phelan, CA (November 8, 2018) – On the morning of November 8, several vehicles became involved in a deadly accident on Interstate 15 near Electrical Maintenance Road.
Authorities came to the scene of the accident around 11:18 a.m. when they discovered that a big rig overturned at the off-ramp while three additional vehicles were involved. One vehicle rolled over onto its side and another was pushed into another lane and faced in the opposite direction.
Multiple parties were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated following the accident. One person lost their life and many more were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. At this time, it is believed that the driver of the semi-truck lost control when their brakes let out. The identities of the other parties have not been released at this time.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
