Perris, CA – Two Dead in Head-on Collision on Hwy 74 at Seventh St

Perris, CA (August 21, 2023) – On Monday, officials confirmed the deaths of two drivers who were involved in a head-on collision in southern Perris.

Troopers with the California Highway Patrol report that around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, a 23-year-old woman from Costa Mesa and an unidentified man in his 20s from Lake Elsinore were killed in a car accident on Highway 74, west of Seventh Street.

According to Officer Mike Lassig, paramedics from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived at the scene within 10 minutes and declared both motorists dead at the site.

An investigation is still ongoing, though no additional details have been released.
