Pasadena, CA – Jessica Torres Killed in Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash
Pasadena, California (October 22, 2018) – According to local authorities, 27-year-old Jessica Torres was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident involving a hit-and-run driver on Sunday evening. The fatal collision occurred at approximately 7:30 pm on October 21st, in the area of Fair Oaks Avenue between Washington and Claremont Streets.
As indicated by the initial police report, Jessica Torres was attempting to cross the street between Washington and Claremont Streets when a vehicle struck her. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly traveling north on Fair Oaks Avenue when the accident took place. The vehicle involved has been identified as a white sports utility SUV. Shortly after the accident, police, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene where they performed CPR in an attempt to revive Torres but were unsuccessful. The victim died of her injuries at the scene of the crash. Pasadena police are looking for the driver involved the hit-and-run. The vehicle involved was an SUV and may have front-end damage. Authorities have not yet determined the events leading up to the crash.
