Pasadena, CA – 17-Year–Old Girl Injured on Washington Blvd
Pasadena, CA (August 20, 2019)- A 17-year-old girl was injured and hospitalized in a devasting Pasadena car accident. The accident occurred Monday at 1:53 a.m. on the 300 block of Washington Boulevard.
Reports claim that John Rodriguez, 18, crashed into a parked car on Washington Boulevard. It is highly suspected that Rodriguez was under the influence of drugs during the time of the collision. The 17-year-old passenger was then left behind by Rodriguez as he fled the scene of the crash. Rodriguez was later apprehended by authorities and arrest on suspicion of hit-and-run and driving under the influence.
The 17-year-old victim was promptly taken to the hospital for her injuries. Her identity remains unknown at this time. Authorities are currently investigating the collision.
