Palo Alto, CA – One Killed and Two Injured After Plane Crash
Palo Alto, CA (September 5, 2018) – On September 4, a serious plane crash took place near the Palo Alto airport that led to injuries in two people and the death of one person. The accident happened yesterday around 11 a.m.
At the time, the pilot was flying a single-engine Mooney M20 and was trying to land when they suddenly crashed into the water near the Palo Alto Duck Pond. Emergency responders quickly came to the scene and rendered aid to three people who were found at the scene. One person lost their life in the crash and was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
The two that received injuries were identified as 49-year-old Nancy Dellamaria and 16-year-old Chloe King. They were identified as a mother and daughter and quickly transported to a trauma center for unknown injuries.
At this time, the National Transportation Safety Board and FAA are investigating the accident.
