Palmdale, CA – Fatal Collision Along 14 Freeway Takes Two Lives
Palmdale, CA (September 30, 2018) – 68-year-old Erlinda Fernandez and 61-year-old Rosario Agmata lost their lives in a Palmdale crash that happened along the 14 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident happened on Saturday morning, September 29.
The two had been riding in a Toyota Highlander when they were involved in a rear-end crash with another vehicle. The driver of the Toyota sped off and slammed into the back of a truck that was located close to a construction zone.
The roof of the Highlander flew off and the vehicle flew into a wall on the side of the road from the construction zone. Agmata and Fernandez died at the scene of the accident.
At this time, police are still investigating the accident.
