Palmdale, CA- Eric Williams-Johnson Killed at Rancho Vista Blvd and Ave O-8
Palmdale, CA (August 8, 2019)- Eric Williams-Johnson, age 22, has been identified as the pedestrian that was killed in a traffic collision in Palmdale last month. The fatal pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday, July 24th, at Rancho Vista Boulevard and Avenue 0-8.
Reports claim that Williams-Johnson was struck by an unspecified vehicle type while crossing at the intersection for unknown reasons. Williams-Johnson sustained severe injuries and, after being rushed to a local area hospital, he was pronounced deceased by paramedics.
Many details surrounding the accident have not been released at this time. Whether drugs, alcohol, or human negligence factored into this accident remains under investigation by authorities. The identity of the driver involved in the accident has yet to be released to the public. An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing by the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
