Palm Springs, CA – Adult Male Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident
Palm Springs, CA (January 12, 2019) – Police say that an adult male lost his life in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place last evening, January 11, at North Indian Canyon Drive.
The accident took place around 6:30 a.m. in the morning around the area of 19th Avenue. A male pedestrian was walking along the street at the time when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The vehicle that struck him was described as a Ford SUV that had been traveling southbound at the time.
Fire officials and paramedics arrived at the scene, where they found the pedestrian lying unresponsive in the roadway. He tragically passed away at the scene.
Police say that the driver of the Ford stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities, but none of the parties have yet been identified.
The roadway was closed down for several hours while police investigated.
