Pacoima, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Serious Hit-and-Run Accident
Pacoima, CA (August 21, 2018) – A pedestrian lost their life in a serious hit-and-run accident at the intersection of San Fernando Road and Bradford Street. The incident happened around 6:00 a.m. when a 50-year-old man was crossing the intersection in a marked crosswalk and was suddenly struck by a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the time the fire department and paramedics made it to him. At this time, he unfortunately remains unidentified. The driver of the vehicle that struck him failed to stop at the scene and proceeded to flee.
Because there were no witnesses to the accident, nobody was there to give a description of the vehicle that might have been involved.
The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate at this time.
