Ontario, CA – Passenger Killed After Serious DUI-Related Collision
Ontario, CA (September 28, 2018) – In Ontario, a pedestrian lost their life in a DUI-related collision on Thursday, September 27. The accident happened on the Interstate 60 Freeway.
At the time, police determined that Pedro Richard Montez had been driving a 2011 Equinox on the roadway and crashed into the center divider and then an exit sign on the other side of the roadway.
First responders came to the scene of the accident and found a passenger inside the wreckage. He was pulled out but officials sadly pronounced him dead at the scene.
Montez was rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, while there, he was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter for driving while he was intoxicated and a variety of other charges.
Now, the investigation into the accident continues.
