Corning, CA – One Person Hospitalized after Car Collision at Hoag and Hall Roads

Corning, California (October 26, 2018) – Authorities are investigating a major car collision that occurred Friday morning at an intersection in Corning. The California Highway Patrol reported the accident transpired at approximately 7:42 am on October 26^th.  At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved has been revealed.

The initial police report indicates, a Dodge Ram pickup truck and minivan collided for indeterminate reasons, at an intersection in Corning located between Hoag Road and Hall Road. Sometime later, Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene where they discovered at least one person trapped in one of the vehicles needed extrication. Officials confirmed the female driver of the minivan was unconscious and responding paramedics transported her to Enloe Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of major injuries she sustained upon impact of the collision. Emergency crews dispatched tow trucks to the scene to clear the wreckage off the roadway. The current physical condition of the injured victim was not disclosed at the time of the initial report. Investigators are trying to determine the sequence of events leading up to the collision.

At this time, this accident is under investigation. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.
