Oceanside, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 5
Oceanside, CA (August 20, 2018) – Police say that a motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Interstate 5 in Oceanside. The accident happened on Sunday morning around 11:31 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that the incident took place in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Mission Avenue. The motorcyclist and three other vehicles, possibly more, were involved in the collision. At this time, police are investigating how the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist, whose name has not yet been identified, was said to have sustained serious injuries due to the collision. The accident was so serious that it completely blocked the left lanes of the highway while the investigation began.
