Los Angeles Pedestrian Accidents
Our thoughts are with the young victim in this tragic crash.
Pedestrian accidents can occur at any time and anywhere. We typically think of pedestrian accidents happening in the city and other crowded areas. However, they also happen on highways and everywhere else pedestrians may be found. A pedestrian on the highway may actually be at greater risk of a serious accident because of the vehicle speeds. Additionally, many highway drivers do not expect to see a pedestrian crossing the road. This leads to the driver being unable to stop in time.
Responsibility for this crash is still being determined. After the conclusion of the investigation, more information will be known as to whether the teenage girl’s family has any legal rights against the driver who hit her.
