Oakdale, CA – Head-on Collision at Woodward Reservoir Regional Park
Oakdale, CA (September 3, 2018) – In Oakdale, a head-on collision took place at the Woodward Reservoir Regional Park. Four people were hospitalized following the accident around 12:50 yesterday.
The accident took place on a shoreline road known as South Drive. A vehicle had been traveling west while another was going east. For unknown reasons, the two collided head-on. Fire Department officials and paramedics came to the scene of the incident and four people were hospitalized.
One person was so severely injured that they had to be airlifted from the scene. All of the patients were adults and received non-life-threatening injuries. The California Highway Patrol believes that one was driving without paying attention to the road.

A motorist was more than likely driving distracted when this particular accident took place. At this time, investigators are taking a closer look at the accident to determine who acted negligently and caused the collision with their actions.
