North Highlands, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash
North Highlands, CA (October 6, 2018) – Police say that a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash that happened in the North Highlands. The accident happened on Watt Avenue and Van Owen Street.
Police responded to the scene around 10:07 p.m. They found that a Yamaha motorcycle had been struck by at least one vehicle at the intersection. Paramedics found that the motorcyclist had suffered major injuries due to the accident.
The motorist who struck the motorcyclist did not stop to render aid and instead fled the scene. At this time, we do not know if they have been caught or not.
