National City, CA – 21-Year-Old Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident
National City, CA (October 13, 2018) – A motorcyclist lost his life in a serious, fatal motorcycle accident that happened at Mile of Cars Way and Transportation Avenue on Thursday, October 11. The man who lost his life was identified as 21-year-old Andrew Balderas.
The accident happened around 7 a.m. outside of Frank Toyota. At the time, Balderas had been riding his motorcycle east on the roadway when a Toyota Sienna turned in front of him coming south. Balderas ran into the side of the minivan as a result. The rider was wearing a helmet but was found unresponsive by paramedics at the scene.
He was quickly taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead due to his serious injuries.
At this time, police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
