Napa, CA – One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 29
Napa, CA (January 31, 2019) – One unidentified party lost their life in a pedestrian accident that took place on Wednesday night on Highway 29 around 6:25 p.m.
Police responded to the scene of the accident after a vehicle struck a man in the northbound lanes near Trower Avenue in the north part of Napa. At the time, police say that the pedestrian had been crossing the highway when he entered into the right lane and was immediately struck.
Paramedics came to perform CPR on the man but, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. The driver of the vehicle and witnesses stayed at the scene so that they could cooperate with officers.
Police also closed down the northbound lanes on Highway 29 so that they could investigate. At this time, they continue their investigation into the crash.
