Morgan Hill, CA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash Takes Life of 30-Year-Old Woman
Morgan Hill, CA (August 21, 2018) – 30-year-old Vanessa Rodriguez of Sunnyvale was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Friday. The accident took place at 2:20 p.m. in Morgan Hill.
Rodriguez was operating her 2018 black Honda at the time of the accident when she became involved in a collision with a big rig. At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident but they believe that Rodriguez might have been splitting lanes at the time.
Police say that Rodriguez became trapped underneath the semi-truck and was dragged about 300 feet before the truck came to a stop. Emergency responders started CPR on her but she was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
Certain lanes of the highway were shut down for several hours while the investigation took place.
Morgan Hill Fatal Motorcycle Accident
Our condolences are with the family of Vanessa Rodriguez at this time. Because she was involved in an accident while legally abiding by the rules of the road, the driver of the truck might fall under scrutiny when it comes time to hold a party liable. If the truck was owned by a company, this might mean that you will have multiple parties to choose from when bringing your claim against a negligent party.
When it comes to the loss of a loved one, you might feel a wide array of emotions such as financial worry and emotional distress. We understand that you are going through a difficult time at the Los Angeles Injury Group. Call us for more information on your claim at 310-954-7248.
