People who do not seek legal representation immediately following a car accident often make mistakes that damage their otherwise valid claims.
For instance, some victims give a recorded statement to the other driver’s insurance carrier. One poor choice in words and this statement can now be used to nullify their claim and be used against them in court. Another customary mistake is victims not collecting enough information at the time the accident happens. This makes it much harder to conduct an investigation into the cause of the accident.
