Modesto, CA – Woman Killed in Oakdale Road Pedestrian Accident
Modesto, CA (October 7, 2018) – On Saturday, October 6, a woman was killed in an Oakdale Road pedestrian accident. The driver who struck her did not stay at the scene to render aid.
The accident took place around 5 a.m. in the morning. A woman exited her vehicle during an argument with another person, which is when she was struck by another vehicle that was driving eastbound at the time.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the victim lying in the road. They attempted to give her life-saving treatment but she died at the scene.
The deceased was identified as a 35-year-old resident from Modesto. Witnesses at the scene said that the vehicle that struck her was a dark-colored SUV.
Police continue to investigate at this time.
