Modesto, CA – One Person Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash
Modesto, CA (October 2, 2018) – On Monday, October 1, one person was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash. The pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Carpenter and Paradise Roads.
The accident happened around 10:15 p.m. 43-year-old Angelina Bargas of Modesto had been crossing the street at the intersection before a red-colored vehicle struck her. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and Bargas was left behind with serious injuries.
Bargas was transported to the hospital by ambulance and is in serious condition today. Authorities working on the case are still searching for the driver responsible.
