Modesto, CA – Head-on Collision Happens Close to High School
Modesto, CA (September 28, 2018) – On Tuesday, September 25, a head-on collision took place close to a high school. Police responded to the area of the Johansen High School around 4:30 p.m.
At the time, Diana Conzalez was driving in the area when he was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Luther Donele Gilmore. Gonzalez sustained severe injuries due to the wreck. The condition of the victim has not yet been released.
Gilmore died due to the collision. He had been driving the vehicle illegally, as he stole it from a woman in Empire in the afternoon.
A further investigation continues at this time.
