Mentone, CA – Marcos White Killed in Bicycle Accident

Mentone, CA (August 19 2018) – A fatal bicycle crash occurred on Highway 38 at Crafton Avenue early Friday.  Police were called to the accident scene just before 2:00 am.  There, they found a man suffering from critical injuries.  The man, later identified as 31 year old Marcos White, was transported by ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

White, a resident of Mentone, later succumbed to his injuries.  The cause of this crash, including the sequence that led to its occurrence, are unknown at this time.  Police are still investigating and have not released any additional information regarding the details of the incident.

The driver who hit White’s bicycle has not been identified.
