Mendocino County, CA – Two Killed in Highway 101 Head-On Crash
Mendocino County, CA (August 15, 2018) – Two drivers were tragically killed in a head-on crash on Highway 101 at Reeves Canyon Road on Wednesday morning. At 8:58 am, a Toyota Tacoma and a Subaru were involved in a collision. The collision took place when one of the vehicles crossed the center line. It is not clear which of the vehicles crossed over and caused the crash.
Both vehicles overturned in the crash. One vehicle came to rest along the guardrail. Both drivers received emergency medical attention but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating this crash. At this time, there is no word on the identity of the deceased drivers. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
