Mendocino County, CA: Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Fort Bragg
Mendocino County, California (February 23, 2018): One person was killed in a terrible single-vehicle crash at a Fort Bragg intersection yesterday night, Thursday, February 22, 2018. Few details about the collision have been made available to the public at this time.
Authorities first received reports that a Mazda SUV had crashed into a tree for unknown reasons just after 9:30 p.m. and emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the accident scene at Mitchell Creek Drive and Simpson Lane in Fort Bragg. Officials with the Fire Department extricated a nonresponsive individual, believed to be the driver, from the vehicle. The individual was confirmed dead at the scene. No other injuries have been reported in relation to this crash and no additional information has been provided.
