Mendocino, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Hit-&-Run on State St
Mendocino, CA (December 12, 2019) – A hit-and-run accident on State Street in Redwood Valley on Monday, December 9th left a pedestrian critically injured.
The accident took place just before 10:00 p.m. at 7751 North State Street near the Coyote Valley Casino Gas Station.
According to a police report, at least two cars hit the pedestrian.
The driver of the first vehicle fled the scene, heading southbound. The driver of the second car, a tan-colored Saturn sedan, pulled over and remained at the scene.
Emergency medical technicians arrived at the scene and discovered the pedestrian lying in the road, having sustained critical injuries during the accident.
The victim was taken to a nearby trauma center for immediate medical attention.
