Mead Valley, CA – Three Injured in a Crash Involving Horse on Markham St.
Mead Valley, CA (September 23, 2018) – An accident in Mead Valley left three injured on Markham Street. The accident, according to police, involved a horse, who was killed when struck by a car.
The accident took place yesterday, September 22, around 8:16 p.m. in the 21000 block of Markham Street. One person had been riding a horse at the time when they were struck by a vehicle.
Police said that two people were transported to the hospital by ambulance with varying major injuries. The third person was evaluated at the scene but refused medical treatment at the hospital.
The horse died at the scene of the accident. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
