McFarland, CA – Two Seriously Injured at Garces Highway and Highway 43

McFarland, CA (July 31, 2018) – Two people suffered serious injuries in a Monday afternoon in McFarland. The crash occurred just after 3:00 pm at the intersection of Garces Highway and Highway 43. The crash took place when a pickup truck collided with a semi-truck.

Police, fire and emergency officials responded to the crash site. The injured victims were treated and later transported to Kern Medical Center. There is no update on their condition at this time. Police have not released any word on the cause of the collision. The roadway was shut down following the as police worked the scene.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident. There is no further information available at this time.
