Malibu, CA – Two Killed, One Injured in Trancas Canyon Road Accident
Malibu, CA (August 4, 2018) – Two people were killed and another injured in a car vs. bicycle accident in Malibu on Friday. Just after 12:00 pm, a car and bicycle collided with one another on Trancas Canyon Road, near the Pacific Coast Highway. Immediately, it became clear that this was a serious crash.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene. One person was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries. Sadly, two people were pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash. It is not clear at this time whether the deceased were in the vehicle or on the bicycle.
The deceased have not been identified pending notification of their next of kin. Police have not said how the accident occurred. The crash remains under further investigation.
